After the munitions explosion in Gėrdec, the donor community has offered support to the Government. The Government has established an inter-ministerial group (on a Prime Minister’s order on 21 April 2008).  At the present, this structure is focused on Gerdec tragedy, but in the future this structure will be used to manage/coordinate donor assistance in emergency situations.  The group is chaired by the Director of the DSDC.  The main objective of this group is to prepare a plan for coordinating the external assistance based on the short, medium and long-term needs in emergency crisis.

Below you will find different activities/meetings and documents related to the post-Gerdec coordination, including a draft of the Integrated Document for the reconstruction of gerdec which has been sent to the donor community for consultation.
