Donor Coordination in Albania

The High Level Forum took place in Accra, Ghana from 2 to 4 September 2008. There were over 1000 participants from 100 countries, international organisations, and civil society organisations. The delegation from the GoA was led by the Deputy Minister of Finance Mr. Sherefedin Shehu. DSDC Director Ms. Albana Vokshi, participated from the DSDC.

One UN Initiative

The Government of Albania and the United Nations signed the One UN Programme on October 24. The objective of the Programme is to better support Albania in achieving its goals as expressed in the Stabilisation and Association Agreement with the EU, national priorities expressed in the National Strategy for Development and Integration and the Integrated Planning System, and programmes of international partners.
